To celebrate World Autism Month, Chuck E. Cheese is collaborating with Autism Speaks to launch new Sensory Sensitive Birthdays. The new party experience has all the fun of the traditional Chuck E. Cheese party, with modifications to prioritize comfort and flexibility.
Chuck E. Cheese and Autism Speaks designed party packages to provide birthday experiences that adapt to individual needs. A quieter setting, dimmed lights, and a calmer environment make it easier for kids to enjoy their day of games and activities. Chuck E. Cheese also worked with Sensory Safe to create inclusive spaces.

Sensory Sensitive Birthdays include the features of the Mega Fun or Ultimate Fun birthday packages, with two hours of unlimited gameplay, ice cream, and more. Families can opt in or out of different sensory elements, like singing “Happy Birthday,” a visit from Chuck E. Cheese himself, and the Ticket Blaster experience. Parties are also hosted by a team member trained to ensure your kid’s birthday is fun, safe, and inclusive.
This new birthday experience is available during Chuck. E Cheese’s established Sensory Sensitive Sundays, which take place every first Sunday of the month. In celebration of World Autism Month, Chuck E. Cheese will host two Sensory Sensitive Sundays this month. Select locations will celebrate April 12, and all corporate locations across the U.S. and Canada will celebrate April 16.
This month, guests can also donate to Autism Speaks through Chuck E. Cheese’s national fundraiser. With a donation of $10, Birthday Stars can collect five times the e-tickets in the Ticket Blaster when families host Mega Fun or Ultimate Fun birthday parties through April 15. Partygoers will receive 500 e-tickets with a donation of $5 at checkout.
